Read the submitted planning application and environmental statement
Planning Application
Once an EIA development planning application has been submitted to the local council, it has a target of sixteen weeks to determine the application. In this time they will consult with numerous statutory consultees such as:
- Local Parish Councils
- Neighbouring District Councils
- National Parks
- Natural England
- English Heritage
- Ministry of Defence (MOD)
- Airports/Airfields
Plus other statutory bodies.
At this time the Council will also give the local community the opportunity to make their views known.
Copies of the planning application and Environmental Statement will also be made available for public viewing by the Council in a suitable public place.
The planning applications, which were resubmitted to Stockton on Tees Borough Council and Hambleton District Council in March 2009, are available for public consultation during normal office hours at the Council offices as detailed below:

- A printed copy of the Environmental Statement Addendum, costs £25; and
- A printed copy of the original planning application documents (excluding appendices which are only available on DVD), cost £250.
