Welcome to the Seamer Windfarm online consultation website.
Broadview Energy is considering the possibility of erecting wind turbines on land between the villages of Hilton and Seamer on the Stockton on Tees and North Yorkshire boundaries.
Initial feasibility studies indicate the land may be suitable for such use; we are now going to carry out a range of in-depth studies to consider the potential impacts, positive and negative, to the environment. A decision to proceed with a scheme will be made when the findings of these studies are known. Hambleton and Stockton-on-Tees Councils have provided advice and guidance on the scope of the studies by way of Environmental Impact Assessment scoping responses.
We consider community engagement to be a vital part of our project development process and we are keen to hear your views, on both wind energy and our plans for the Seamer Windfarm. The website will enable you to register and tell us what you think or ask any question you may have. It is intended to provide information as the scheme develops and we are keen to share this information with you, so that you can accurately form your views.
